RAW VEGAN CHOCOLATE
 

When I tell people about the raw vegan life style the question “do you miss chocolate” pops up readily. The great thing about raw is that YES we can eat chocolate! It’s smooth and instantly melts in your mouth without the all the sugar and other ingredients in refined processed chocolate. 
 
Ingredients
¼ cup coconut oil, melted
2 Tbsp raw cocoa or carob powder
2 Tbsp coconut nectar or B grade maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
Add in nuts, dried fruit, dried edible flowers, spices
 
1. In a bowl mix the ingredients until combined.
2. Pour into chocolate moulds or dip fruit and nuts, coat truffles or drizzle onto cakes and desserts.
3. Store in the fridge or freezer for 10mins until set.
